Have you ever wondered what is the best part of being a blogger? Why do people choose to blog?
This is my first Roundup Post Blog Series. And I am so excited to share with you the opinions of a few fellow bloggers. Each of them has been so kind to take some time off their busy schedule and share their views and happiness about being a blogger.
I am so pleased to get so many bloggers responding to my Roundup Post Blog Series. Since it is my first time starting a roundup post blog series there were a few minor glitches here and there (all because of emails and spams). I did respond to every blogger that sent their details in the contact form. Unfortunately, a few of them didn’t receive my email. Some found it the spam section.
Since I am going to have this series every month, I must find a way to make this easier for everyone participating. Do you think I need to make a facebook group for my Roundup Post Blog Series?
What Is The Best Part Of Being A Blogger
Some blog as a hobby while others do it full time. Many have even taken a bigger step by leaving the security of a permanent career to focus on blogging.
I can confidently say that starting a blog was one of the best decision I have made. My blogging journey may not be a smooth sailing one, but it is very satisfying. I have always wanted to be a boss girl. Where I get to make the rules and set the target.
Blogging has taught me to be braver in taking risks and making decisions for myself. I am more focus on what I am doing because it is something that I love. I am able to spend more time with my ageing parents and look after my 10 cats. I enjoy making so many new friends…from around the world, with different cultures but with the same interest ‘BLOGGING’
Anyway, this Roundup Post Blog Series is not only about me and my opinion. It’s the opinions and thoughts of other bloggers that matter most to me.
What is The Best Part Of Being A Blogger

If you ask me, being a blogger itself is the best part no matter whatever niche you choose. Well, it is good for both people, who want to earn from blogging and who does blogging as a hobby or pleasure. Blogging for me is love and personal I can express myself and my passion through my blog. As you can see my blog ‘With Love Moni’ has many niches.
It covers both my professional life and personal life. I don’t write to get paid. I write because I love when people read my work and share their opinion on it. It does not matter they agree with me or not, for me their opinion matters. I also love reading other people’s blog because I get to know about travelling, parenthood, business, studies, music, fashion, beauty, technical and etcetera.
Though, as I always say, I know many people but I hardly make any friends. Knowing someone in the blogging world is more than anything important because at the end of the day we bloggers have each other’s back in our blogging world.
Karla Obispo – Travel With Karla
The best part of being a blogger is having the power to connect the people and the brands. As a blogger, I get invited to different tourist destinations and events. I also get a chance to try the latest products and services available in the market. What I do is give detailed and honest reviews about the things I experience. It feels good to get positive feedback from my readers saying that my blog posts really influence their choices. There are really a lot of reasons why brands should hire a blogger.
Amy Braun – Ai Love Music
The best part of being a blogger is meeting and connecting with other bloggers. I have been inspired and touched by many bloggers that I have met on different social media platforms. From the information posts on how to write that perfect blog post to the #FollowFriday hashtag shoutouts every week, there is so much support and guidance on these platforms. If I ever have a problem with blogging, I can always turn to a group on Facebook or Twitter to get really supportive answers. Finally, I get inspired by fellow bloggers to not only be a better blogger but be a better person every day.

I love getting to share my passions with others. I used to think of blogging a lot like a scene from “You’ve Got Mail.” Kathleen writes, “I just want to send this cosmic question out into the void. So good night, dear void.” When I started blogging, that was all I wanted, to send my thoughts and feelings out into the void. To my great surprise, I have found a beautiful and wonderfully supportive community of bloggers who share my excitement and ease my difficulties. So I guess my favourite part of blogging is…you.
Angel – Simply Sweet Mama
The best part about being a blogger is giving me the opportunity to express myself. To let me have that creative outlet. I have a hard time doing this in person so blogging has been a way to let people know how I feel.
Bhavna Kapoor – Pennies For Cents
I quit my full-time corporate job after having worked my backside off for over 20 years. Imagine having done something every waking minute of your life for two decades and then, BOOM! It is gone.
Why did I leave a job that gave me financial security, recognition and great learning? Simply because I was doing things that someone else told me. I was a minion working towards achieving someone else’s goals.
Today as a blogger, I am my own boss. Bloggers (and entrepreneurs) work to realize their goals and their vision. The biggest thing bloggers gain is the happiness and satisfaction of realizing their dreams. Happy to be a blogger and my own boss!

This is a great read, I am fairly new to blogging, but not new to writing. I love writing about what I love, and for me, this is what blogging is all about. Glad to know that mostly bloggers are just normal people with a fair share of love in writing.

For me, being a blogger is an opportunity to share my views, thoughts and advice on parenting, relationships, and anything about life and living. Writing is my therapy. When I feel sad or anxious about something, I sit down and write. When I am happy, I am eager to share my happiness with the world through writing. My childhood dream was to be a journalist, but since I did not go that route and took on a different major in college, I still believe that passion for writing never waned.

Everything! I like being a blogger: creating and managing content and my own time, discussing the blog evolution, achieving the goals, even fails are welcomed because they are a part of experience. But best part is actually communication with audience.

I love that you were able to get so many replies and share them. Blogging is fun & a hobby for me. That may turn into something more into the future, but that is where we are now. I have thoroughly enjoyed it thus far.

Wow this is nice! In my case, it’s something that I can do easily, at my own time, while taking care of the kids. Plus I get perks like products and family vacations. 🙂 It’s not very profitable in terms of money but it is for experiences. 🙂

For me the best part of being a blogger is the freedom to express your thoughts and feelings through writing. It is a great way to meet like-minded individuals too.
Yes, blogging is one of the best platforms to express your thoughts.
I’m definitely the blog as a hobby. I don’t have the time to make it a full-time gig. Plus I feel if I try to make it a “job” it will no longer be fun for me as it’s my creative outlet.
The most important thing is to enjoy and love whatever you do. It doesn’t matter if it’s only a hobby 🙂
It was so fun to read about what other bloggers think about this field and what they like about. For me, as many already said, I love connecting with like-minded people.

It’s really very satisfying to know that more and more women are joining the blogging as primarily as their passion and later on taking it as their full-time career. Most importantly I love the most crucial thing is that your passion can fetch you some earning. Otherwise, in this world how many are there who earn from their passion. We have to work for our bread and butter but hardly you would find passion in it. But in blogging whatever maybe your niche, you have the plethora of options of saying what you believe without caring for others.
