Searching for some fun and Creative Easter Basket Craft Ideas to make with your kids? Why not surprise your family and friends with a handmade Easter Basket filled with chocolates.
Easter is just around the corner and if you are planning a gathering or maybe attending one, I am sure you have started brainstorming for ideas. I love planning for gatherings but it can be really exhausting. First you got to plan the type of food to serve to your guest. Appetizers, main courses and not to forget some crowd pleasing Easter desserts.
How To Make An Easter Basket?
Then you got to start getting creative and start preparing some Easter Baskets for your guest to take home. A store bought basket filled with chocolates would be less stressful but I feel that those are boring. So I always try to brainstorm some cute handmade Easter Basket Ideas. Its actually not so hard with the help of Google and Pinterest. All you have to do is just to search for Easter Basket Ideas and you would be spoiled with choices.
Last year my godmother was in charge of making Easter baskets for the guest, and she decided to make these cute bunnies carrying mini boxes filled with chocolates. Not only the kids were excited to have one each but the adults wanted one too.
When planning an Easter gathering that involves kids, always remember to include some fun activities. It it best if you can organize some fun Easter related games and of course some kids DIY activites.
Kids love to get busy creating some creative stuff. Since its Easter, why not let them make some Cute Easter Bunny Crafts. These handmade Easter bunnies can then be used for your Easter games too.
How To Organize A Fun Easter Egg Hunt Using Handmade Easter Baskets
Getting back to the Easter Baskets that you are planning to make, these baskets can also be turned into some fun activities. One of the most famous game during Easter is the Egg Hunt.
What you should do is to hide loads of cute Easter eggs around the house or in the garden (that if the weather is being nice). Then ask the kids to make their own Easter Basket. For toddlers, their parents can help to make the basket. Older kids, even preschoolers would be able to make their own baskets.
Next, when everyone has made a basket, its time for the most exciting part. A time limit is given and the kids can start their Easter Egg Hunting activity. The person that collects the most egg chocolates wins. But actually everyone is a winner because they can take home their handmade basket and all those yummy egg chocolates that they have collected.
This ‘Egg Hunt’ concept can also be organize for teen boys and girls. But instead of hiding chocolates, you could hide something more suitable for their age group. Beauty stuff like lip gloss, soap or maybe shampoo would be suitable for teen girls. While for teen boys it could be flip flops, socks or even body spray.
